Our Dive Centre
Owned and run by Zelda and Lynn for 25 years, Guinjata Dive Centre has been the base of ocean exploration of a large, exclusive stretch of coastline. We pride ourselves in our vast skillset, experience and our mission of always having a lot of fun!
Situated on the beach right in front of the launching area, an easy launch is skippered by stalwart Armando and his handy team on our 2 x 8m rubber ducks with 90cc Suzuki 4-stroke motors. The dive centre features a fully equipped and certified PADI instruction facility, complete with a training pool for scuba diving. Our professional, friendly and helpful Dive Masters and Instructors are on site full-time to answer any questions that you might have.
Whether it’s day or night and whether you are young, old, disabled, novice or beginner, we are ready and eager to venture into the waters with you!

We are open every day:
- High Season: 05:00 – 17:00
- Low Season: 07:00 – 16:00
Launch times:
- From 05:00 until as late as 16:00

Safety
Our philosophy is that safety comes first. All our dives are planned to be recreational dives where local regulations are respected. All dives are guided and compliant with a maximum depth according to certification. Planning is done in such a manner as to prevent dangerous situations or any harm to divers. All staff are trained to handle emergencies quickly, safely and efficiently. Briefings include aspects of reef protection, aquatic life protection and responsible interaction.
At the dive centre, we have the following:

Handicapped Divers
We are proud to have the only Course Director Trainer in Africa for the Handicap Scuba Association. We are qualified and fully equipped to dive with any disability.
